It’s the best kind of talk. Zippy and fun- lighthearted, full of jokes. The best part of the party is the pre game. Once it gets too loud for chit chat, im gone
I’m not the best at sparking conversations when I’m in a loud room. It sort of makes my brain glitch and i cant think of a single thing to talk about. so, when I’m out with friends, it’s always nice to go to places that have activities.
This place had huge sheets of paper and crayons. we were LAUGHING so hard at our horrendous doodles, and it got the night rolling a lot easier. Also they had free popcorn hell yeah.
Arguably the most consistent way to hang out with friends at least once a week. So many venues have them. Activity! Camaraderie! And you usually learn something. Thursday is the best night for this, I think. Gives you something to look forward to other than the weekend.
I love gabbing over any game. That being said, there is something delightful about a causal, low stakes buy in poker game as you chat shit with your friends. Sneaky I’ll play all night. It’s a non-taxing social activity that kicks off the weekend. The learning curve isn’t as crazy as you’d think--If any of y’all NYC PI.FYI wanna do a fun lil practice game (I’ve done M&Ms instead of money), let’s get it going 😎
People are so obsessed with fame- but being looked at by strangers all the time is not what its cracked up to be. move to the woods, eat a sandwich, be at peace with yourself
