I don’t know anything about the cognitive science behind meditation, but I imagine the benefits you can reap from it rely heavily on body awareness relative to the the occupied and empty space around you
doesn’t matter if it’s 5 or 20 minutes. Sit down, ground yourself, clear your head, move on with your day. It’s really impressive how creative I’ve become since I started meditating (more or less) regularly. It basically clears my head and gives my brain space to expand
