not sure if this is niche but i never hear anyone talking about gregg araki so. i love this movie. it’s got amazing set design and characters and a soundtrack with shoegaze and 90s underground indie on it. plot is about aliens and queer identity, which i also love.

his movies are super gay and super weird but like at the same time super cool, he loves putting slowdive songs in his movies too
