Rec'd on šŸ¤Ø Slays can we get some bizarre, niche films
nowhere (1997)
not sure if this is niche but i never hear anyone talking about gregg araki so. i love this movie. itā€™s got amazing set design and characters and a soundtrack with shoegaze and 90s underground indie on it. plot is about aliens and queer identity, which i also love.

have you seen the tv pilot for his cancelled show ā€˜this is how the world endsā€™? very similar to nowhere with a sick as hell soundtrack. friend of my mumā€™s worked on it and now i have merch from a cancelled greg araki thing
