the formally independent (recently acquired by studio movie grill LOL) River Oaks Theatre was a place where i saw so many beautiful movies and seeing this one rlly sutck with me! twas a feast for the eyes
i have never felt such simultaneous dread and awe. i will forever be in love with everything about this movie; a pace thats frenzying and cathartic, cinematography+directing inspired by italian neorealism, and performances that defy explanation. fundamental theater experience for my taste maturation and sparked my love for independent cinema exhibition.
i started tracking how much i sleep in a week and my life genuinely gets so much better when i sleep at least 7 hours every day. it completely changes my demeanor and mood to the point where i am noticeably happier. also i’m WAY less anxious and that’s always a plus. i am not currently in one of those weeks, but a guy can dream🤷♂️
