i like asking people to say the word “hat” because sometimes when they say hat they enunciate the T and it makes me smile i like putting paperclips on my shoelaces when someone yawns on public transit, i try to track how far the yawn passes from person to person i like to say “i started that.” whenever i cause someone else to yawn as if it’s something to boast and i like leaving voicemails because i sing any song that’s been on my mind until the phone cuts me off :)
I love when people do this. although I tend to slip into an Orange County pace when I’m nervous or excited (thanks mom!!), I try to make the effort to slow down and be more careful with my words. It also lends itself to being a better listener!
i think it was david lynch who said he's only lost 2 good ideas in his life and it's because he didn't write them down
