Getting back on tumblr?

My friends were talking about Pinterest and I logged back into mine after about five years and found it so revolting, but I was kind of sad because I miss creating visual catalogues. then I remembered Tumblr exists and reblogged some quotes and pretty pictures! I love pinterest so much

I love curating my favorite pins , things I have on my wishlist ,old cool runway shows , a vibe I want to emulate , products I want to buy I just love it so so much and it’s my favorite app pinterest + Substack lately I tried a digital detox for ten days it was hard I missed scrolling on tiktok but I found myself reading more books articles I saved it’s so much fun I also made new podcast episodes I need to do it more often and lately my favorite thing to do is to save and create cool boards for winter fashion so obsessed, why you like Pinterest ?

Never ever been back to pinterest since, can write as many notes as you want, no ads at all and all the content is actually inspiring and can lead to beautiful wormholes where you forget what you even started looking for 5 hours ago. only thing is that it can be a bit harder to find general topics, ur kinda forced to deep dive if u wanna find what you want.

Get up and say, "I'm just gonna do this for 10 minutes." And mean it. Ususally if you plan an hour or more it's impossible, but what's a few minutes? Before you know it you're in the groove and don't need to stop. But you could, if you wanted/needed to. That mindset shift makes all the difference.
