Although I have lived in Los Angeles for the past 11 years, Houston is and always will be my home. From the fat & low hanging clouds, perfectly caramelized sunsets, deep-fried queso-drenched tex-mex, and good ol’ fashioned southern hospitality, it’s quite possibly the best city on Earth. Terribly, painfully romantic, as the song is—it couldn’t be a second longer than it is because the human nervous system couldnt handle it. Kate directed the thing herself. Not only the greatest music video of all time, but one of the best films of the 1980s.
