A good piece of rye bread, toasted, with some butter and, if you prefer, some sharp cheddar

It’s a really simple meal but feels so nourishing and filling. Add a pickle on the side for some acidity if you want.

Keep a dream journal

Take a few minutes when you get up to jot your dreams down when you wake up. It’s a good way to transition to being awake and sometimes dreams are worth reflecting on, even if they’re just funny or nonsensical or beautiful.
