Sometimes you’ve been hustling everyday for a while and your body gives you a very strong signal of “not so fast buddy” and you have to spend the day oscillating from the bed to the couch until you’ve recharged. Happens every 3 months or so, however there’s no shame in your sole accomplishment being washing your hair. Listen to the body!
taking the time to make space for yourself and do activities that fill your soul are wonderful ways to recharge, but their very purpose is defeated if you’re too burnt out to even enjoy them. so take a beat and rest, like really get some good sleep, put the phone away and let your brain unload for a bit.
