Not a “Gamer” or anywhere near that, but my friend bought this when it went on sale and it is so wholesome and fun. genuinely good/tricky puzzles and silliness.
( I played this as a kid on the wii and am impressed with how intuitive my 11ish year old self must have been.)
i remember squeezing next to my sister so we could play coop on the same keyboard and the different noises all the characters made when you fell off the platforms were 🤌
i'm fairly new to adulthood - 19, full-time college student, part-time elementary teacher's aide - one of the things i've loved the most about my job was hearing about the student's interests, and it made me nostalgic for the interests i used to have.
a few weeks ago, Xbox was having it's ~80%-off sale, and i noticed they had a few of my childhood games for like $8-$10, so now for the past few days, all i've been playing is LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. i just finished the main questline yesterday, and the whole thing was a blast.
it really showed me how art such as that can affect people's lives, it was made with a lot of love, and that's apparent from the gameplay. it's also shown me how i've grown, where now i'm challenging myself to do something i never could - unlock each hero, but especially, unlock Deadpool.
i haven’t played this game since i was like 11. it was one of the first games i got on the Wii. and my cousin is so good at sims but i am awful at it. this was a happy medium for me. anyways i downloaded it this morning and i am reliving my tween hobbies
Deleted Twitter today and then was like hey why don’t I delete TikTok too. So far so good. kind of feels like I cut out junk food. Less brain rot and eye strain happening over here. (unfortunately instagram feels too real to part with I don’t know why. but maybe one day...)
