i haven't played since i was 12 but just thinking about it brings all the joy back. I always chose to start with Bulbasaur. I remember driving home after soccer games, me and my pal Junior sitting in the back seats, playing pokemon and eating burger king.
this game is sooo sentimental for me... i cant explain how important it was to little me... the adventure is great, i am obsessed w the pokémon in this gen, i love the colors and the settings, and the battles are fun, also eggs and "baby" forms (pichu etc) and unown introduced!! the corresponding movie (pokemon 3: the movie) is still amazing in my eyes, i love that cursed crystal dream/wish/imagination palace entei creates ❤︎₊ ⊹
i have loved pokemon since i was like 6, but ive recently been re-obsessed and have started building a new little collection. there are so many cute and pretty illustrations, and its so nice to assemble a little binder of ur favorites :3
Dude walked e-v-e-r-y street in NYC over the course of years. Did little increments each day. Wrote about all sorts of random things relating to the city as he went along. There's a great segment about his obsession with barbershops/salons incorporating the letter "z" into the name of their shop eg Royal Cutz VIP
