Itās the easiest cake recipe and itās from the Great Depression, so it doesnāt use eggs, butter, or milk. You mix baking soda and vinegar together (volcano style š) to give it some bubbles instead. All this to say, itās delicious and super moist, so look it up and bake it for a friend.

Love this recipe bc if you have a food or coffee scale you really donāt need to dirty more than a couple measurement tools.
-1 Ā½Ā cupsĀ (187 g) all-purpose flour
-1Ā cupĀ (200 g) granulated sugar
-Ā Ā¼Ā cupĀ (29.5 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
-Ā Ā½Ā teaspoonĀ salt
-Ā 1Ā teaspoonĀ baking soda
- 1Ā teaspoonĀ vanilla extract
-Ā 1Ā teaspoonĀ white vinegar
-Ā ā
Ā cupĀ vegetable oil
-Ā 1Ā cupĀ (237 g) water
Grease or line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper
Whisk together dry ingredients.
Add wet ingredients.
Bake at 350 for about 30-35 minutes

This cake has been a smash hit every time Iāve made it, and itās stupid easy. It uses both real strawberries and strawberry jello powder, so it tastes amazing while also having a nice pink color. I use any super-moist box cake mix, and premade cream cheese frosting. Iāve also subbed in sugar-free jello powder before and it still tastes great!

This is the most amazing and low-maintenance little baking book youāll come across. All the recipes are designed to just be made with a whisk and a mixing bowl. Just little snacking cakes that are perfect as a sweet breakfast or a little Kaffee und Kuchen in the afternoon. I made the vanilla bean cake below. š

These puzzles are wild! All the pieces are different shapes, and even at the end it was so hard! Totally twisted my brain, please let me know if other puzzle companies do this Iām hooked!
