I started this book 3 days ago and I'm not even halfway in but it's SO good. TW obviously for violence (of literally every kind) but this book is singlehandedly making me excited about reading again
an excellent novel ā it explores the violence and exploitation and treachery within the carceral system, the slippery slope of complacency, queer love, prison abolition, and more. those descriptors may not be very alluring but the right people will still pick it up.
!!SEVERE TW!! crime/mystery/thriller that i'm currently reading, about halfway through right now but so far it's been keeping me on the edge of my seat!
i did not do this and am currently frantically packing for a 6am flight and it is 9pm and i want to be in bed. my tootsies are so tired and i am exhausted and there is still so much to do. be better than me, i am a clown
