it's become a weekly tradition of mine to bake something on wednesday evenings while my favorite d&d show is live, and its so fun to make new things and realize that they aren't that tough to make (most of the time)! i made biscotti for the first time ever yesterday and they weren't perfect, but they weren't nearly as tough to make as i imagined!
Recently moved into my own place with my partner and i canāt stop baking!!! Growing up my mum did the classic taiwanese thing of ātreat the oven like storageā move so i never got to try my hand at baking. As someone who loves following instructions tho iāve always felt like i would love it and i was right lol! My partner and i made cream puffs the other day and were immediately humbled by the time-management aspect ā everything took longer than i thought it would and we stayed up past midnight to finish everything š„“ worth it though to have a batch of DELICIOUS cream puffs!!! I mean JUST LOOK at those lilā guys!!!
when it comes to an Italian restaurant you really have to aim for middle-of-the-road. it canāt be too nice. you want BIG plates of pasta and parm dust on everything and unlimited warm but not house-made bread. a waitress with really long coffin nails. photos of famous people on the walls and a group of questionable well-dressed men smoking outside. thatās where the real Italians go and thatās where youāll have the best dining experience
