i feel like theclack summed it up really well. i’d add that having clear goals within each category is helpful to feel less scattered and lets you tend to each thing with more direction. the more projects i take on the more i need to write out to do list and then i think of which one i can knock out the quickest, what’s most urgent, or what i’m in the mood for. next step really is sub-list per project, make it super easy on yourself. okay i want to record this album, now list the steps it takes to complete it, etc. be your own guide and cross things out one at a time and you can tackle everything in your own time

ok i super identify with this and what i've found helpful is: - breaking my ideas up (if that makes any sense). if i can find a way to split something into stages/steps it becomes less intimidating... might sound really obvious but it took me a while to figure it out 😅 - getting someone else involved in ur project is also a good way to get around this - if u don't know how to start, they might - make lists like your life depends on it

i like to organize my week on a sunday evening so i can start with the important things first. i know everything is important, but i try to do 1 or 2 easy/fast tasks in the beggining of the day so i can have that feeling of finishing something and than i'll focus on a bigger task that might take me a few hours/days.

When I lay out all of my work in order of importance, it helps me get through all the big scary tasks first. If that intimidates you, take a small easy task, knock that out, and use that motivation to get to the bigger things. Good luck on the rest of this year. A good mindset is everything.
