if you want a healthy, whole food 30 compliant snack or sweet treat, I highly recommend this homemade date dip. sooooo friggin good. you can pretty much use it as a dip for fruits & veggies, smear it on something lol, or even as a caramel drizzle dupe in lattes (it tastes just like caramel). this is not my idea or recipe, I found it on tiktok; but it has been one of fav things lately as im learning to stick to a whole food based diet.
you’ll want about 15 or so PITTED medjool dates. de-pit them, and place in a bowl. submerge dates in very hot or boiling water for about 15 minutes. drain then add dates to a blender or food processor. next, add some maple syrup (about a tbsp), dash of vanilla, cinnamon, pinch of sea salt, and about two good scoops of coconut cream (make sure you add the liquid part as well) & blend. you measure w your heart!!
