if you want a healthy, whole food 30 compliant snack or sweet treat, I highly recommend this homemade date dip. sooooo friggin good. you can pretty much use it as a dip for fruits & veggies, smear it on something lol, or even as a caramel drizzle dupe in lattes (it tastes just like caramel). this is not my idea or recipe, I found it on tiktok; but it has been one of fav things lately as im learning to stick to a whole food based diet. you’ll want about 15 or so PITTED medjool dates. de-pit them, and place in a bowl. submerge dates in very hot or boiling water for about 15 minutes. drain then add dates to a blender or food processor. next, add some maple syrup (about a tbsp), dash of vanilla, cinnamon, pinch of sea salt, and about two good scoops of coconut cream (make sure you add the liquid part as well) & blend. you measure w your heart!!

truly a fabulous snack for any time! and versatile: add or swap in chia seeds, peanut butter, (chin chin labs) bee pollen honeycomb, different types of or even fresh berries; drop one of the ingredients and still enjoy. share your favorite combos. (thank you theclack for inspiring this post with your rec of pb + chocolate chips)

There's nothing I could recommend more. My favorite post meal sweet treat is probably a medjool date or a handful of ripe berries. What's yours?

There is something so soul cleansing about giving things away - decluttering and making your closet/space make sense for you. also, I used to always take old clothes to buy-back stores like Clothes Mentor hoping to make quick cash, to usually not make anything more than $4 lol, and it feels so much better just taking your stuff to goodwill; way more rewarding knowing that your once-loved items are accessible to people who may be in need or don’t have a lot of money to spend on clothes and things.

Write the poem, take the photo, record the original or cover, record the video, start the painting; whatever it is, just do it. It doesn’t have to be shared but just make the art.
