I always call it emo spyro. An action-adventure-platform-horror game. Chapter 4 is probably my favourite game section ever made. Itās skilfully anxiety inducing without resorting to jump scares or gore. Iām on a replay atm! Itās highly stylised and very 2011 in its emo aesthetic. Its also beautiful and designed with such care. Iāll never get over EA cancelling the third game and refusing to let go of the IP!

Deathās Door - dark souls for cutie pies. i just find this endlessly repayable because the controls feel so nice for me. Also the first āhard gameā I played that convinced me āhard gamesā arenāt out of my ability.
Final Fantasy X - the first āreal gameā I played on my ps2 when I was like 10. my friends used to make fun of me for not going out to play after school because I was doing anotber ffx replay.
Shout out to the spyro trilogy and Spiritfarer - the endlessly replayable basis for my favourite kind of gameplay, and the first game to make me cry, respectively.

Spikey hair, big swords and 90s angst. Mixed feelings on how they planned out this remake trilogy. The new action based play style gives a new feel to how the game plays compared to the original (with the option to opt in for the classic turn-based style). Biggest surprise is how they presented each chapter in an engaging way while trying to incorporate Easter eggs from the original. The story makes it feel familiar yet makes you anticipate what would happen next. Currently playing Rebirth and would keep y'all posted on how it plays out. A solid 8/10.

I am by no means traditionally religious, but I fully understand how being in the presence of beautiful stained glass can feel like being with god. ALWAYS stop off at a church on the way if you think it might have good stained glass. The bluebells in the bottom right corner of this made me loose my breath for a moment.
