This is a website i found in 2014 when i was squatting in an nyu dorm and it was too hard to leave the building because i was pretending to be a student there and had to sign in every day so i couldn’t really go to the gym anymore. This website has many videos for home workouts from HIIT cardio to bodyweight pilates to lifting and they are pretty good in my opinion. There are a lot of free videos but you can also pay $8.99/month for more videos which i recommend. Of course the caveat is that it is extremely easy to hurt yourself if you dont know what youre doing which i often dont so be careful!!! For example My shin cramped once doing a fast yoga class

I’ve never had a gym membership for two reasons: 1. Crowded (like u mentioned) 2. I knew I’d use not having access to a gym as an excuse to not workout regularly. So I knew I needed a solution that focused on calisthenics and cardio that I could do anywhere. This app fits the bill. Plug in what equipment you have access to (nothing is an option) and it will deliver workouts every day based on your fitness goals. It also keeps track of the muscle groups you workout so they get rested properly. You can have it recommend stretches and some yoga poses, but only for warmups and cooldowns. This isn’t a good solution if that’s something you want to focus on, as far as I can tell. Free trial. $80 annually after that.

You will catch me watching a 90s/00s walking workout on YouTube, because I’m getting to a point where the new age of trainers keep giving me difficult things like burpees and my hips can’t withstand that 😂

I get very emotional recommending this because i don’t want to bring in fair weather fans and also as more people come i get on the jumbotron less, but you simply must start going to WNBA games. When the NY Liberty moved to Barclays in 2021, I started attending every single home game. It is the only place in the world i ever feel the full spectrum of emotions. These players are GOOD and many of them are DATING EACH OTHER which happens in no other sport at all basically!!!! Two years ago, 4 of the 5 starting players on Chicago’s team were literally married to each other (two couples, not poly though i wouldnt rule that out as something that could happen in the future). The tickets are so cheap because people do not value the league enough and then also the league itself thinks that people who attend the games have to be entertained the whole entire time or else no one will come, so they have programming for every second of the game, including a dance team of people aged 50+. It’s amazing and i cannot wait for next season.

This is self-explanatory i think. I need to be on my computer or phone the second it gets dark out so that i dont think about how im going to die one day, so i usually do online shopping. But of course i cannot buy the things i want due to i’d lose everything in terms of my money, and also i am obsessed with designer clothing so i really cannot be behaving in that way. But i suspend my belief and open 100+ tabs of clothing/shoes/accessories that i like from TheRealReal, cos, ebay, to name a few and then just as i’m finally starting to get sleepy, i “apple Q” thousands of dollars away without ever adding anything to a cart so that i can start over the next day. It is like “50 first dates” but with retail therapy. Does this make sense?

My wallet is the size of my forearm and i have never lost it in the 10 years ive had it. Yes it means im carrying a backpack most of the time because it doesn’t really fit in a normal purse so to speak, but ive never had to replace a credit card or an ID and that is worth looking like a child on the subway for.
