probably the coolest website I've come across - between 1939 and 1941 the Works Progress Administration collabed with NYC Tax Department to photograph nearly EVERY building in the five boroughs of NYC. Just a mind blowing effort and historical artifact of NYC history.
You can spend hours looking at different sites, places that youve lived, eaten at or frequent and see how much things have changed and what is left from those times.
