probably the coolest website I've come across - between 1939 and 1941 the Works Progress Administration collabed with NYC Tax Department to photograph nearly EVERY building in the five boroughs of NYC. Just a mind blowing effort and historical artifact of NYC history. You can spend hours looking at different sites, places that youve lived, eaten at or frequent and see how much things have changed and what is left from those times.

oldnyc.org for my fellow #nyc heads .... a weird feeling to see your apartment building almost a century ago

Constantly passed by these buildings my whole life, would love to do a deep dive into how these gorgeous marvels were designed and constructed, how theyโ€™ve managed to remain in spite of countless other eras (ie brutalism) overtaking the culture, and how itโ€™s influenced the landscape of NYC as a whole.

winter - sweet oranges, persimmon etc summer - big heirloom tomato and sprinkle of salt, watermelon, stone fruit no need to worry about the mess bc u just wash it right away! someone or maybe the internet recommended eating a cold orange or other citrus in a hot shower and I can confirm that is also a great sensory experience
