Recently been just calling up random friends that I haven’t connected with in a long time. I have this association that a cold call from a friend means bad news and I want to rewire that neural pathway one cold call at a time.

I am generally phone call phobic, the thought of them makes me anxious and they always leave me feeling exhausted. But my friend Alice from uni is the only two people who out of the blue calls me and I actually answer. Just had an hour phone call and I’m so glad I answered! I got gossip! I got love! I got support! I got secrets! Maybe call your friends more, or answer when they call sometimes. This is mostly a reminder to myself.
