This is one of my favorite albums of all time! I listen to it at least twice a week. I recommend anyone who wants to feel like an action hero (or villain) for the next couple hours to listen to it. I miss albums like these that feel like blockbuster soundtracks. The brutal rave production, the in-your-face vocals, the mix of underground grit with a high-gloss pop finish on topā¦ bring back cinematic rave music!

Lesser appreciated Prodigy recordāstill relentlessly raw and hard but has a bit of a polish to it. You can really hear them lean in the direction of the emerging sound that would later probably be classified as electroclash/new rave/bloghouse in a way that highlights the bridge between that and the 90s electronica that preceded it

šæProbably the one Iāve listened to front to back the most! Feels very of electronic music from its era (a sort of teenage-internet 2014 feel) whilst also having some genuinely timeless house songs on there. Airglow Fires is an all timer.

Super super obvious one but oh my GOD this album is so good. But beyond thatā¦.
If you like the Rapture you should check out some other DFA bands. DFA records compilations #1 and #2 are on spotify and theyāre a good way to get a good selection imo :)
