autobiographical book on how she dealt with heartbreak (esp after a codependent relationship). Incredibly well done, very human and accepting of mistakes whilst keeping an overall optimistic tone.

my favorite book of all time. it should be required reading for everyone. i hate self-help books but this is a memoir, which made it feel much more real and moving to me. it's filled with shared human experiences so i think we can all take something from it in some way.

I never understood what it meant to meditate till I looked into ”mindfulness meditation” — realized I get into meditative states often and didnt realize it’s part of a practice- its impossible to “empty” the mind - but being aware of what is pulling your attention can be the first step to being present -

choose 3 songs you will listen to while you clean, and tell yourself that you only need to clean for those 3 songs. I am normally surprised by how much I am able to get done in such a short amount of time.
When taking something off a hanger don’t leave the hanger on the rack pressed between clothes - you will never find it again. Put it somewhere that is easy to find so you can rehang quickly.
