I’ve been embracing the fact that there‘s a difference between resting our bodies and resting our brains. I live in a city, so I’m always constantly around sounds and movements. I found that being in nature, around trees, clean air, in solitude allows me to really rest my brain fr fr. If able to, go on a trip somewhere far or even visit the nearest greeneries to ✨recharge✨

Sometimes I just need a break from the hustle and bustle of life and to sit on the grass or bench in a quiet park. Listening to the leaves rustling in the breeze and the birds tweeting brings about a sense of calming throughout my body that feels so recharging for my soul.

getting out of my own space helps an infinite amount…also just being in nature if you can, listen to the plants and animals and wind

take a break from the city, explore the concept of “shinrin-yoku” or forest bathing. take yourself to a nice river walk. on this trip, we have no internet and phones on. and it was the slowest morning i had ! play with the water, touch the leaves, smell the air, just be with nature. it’s fun without the pressure of “trail” or “hiking” because the destination is just being in with nature and using your 5 senses or more to enjoy it !! ✨

Allowing your mind to rest for a sec and embracing the silence. Being non-verbal for a bit... those moments are top tier.

What an underrated place to seek solitude! the coolest part is that you are not just surrounded by pretty little books, but also surrounded by others seeking solitude. 🫰🏽🤌🏽
