Savage Gardenās 1997 debut album was the first one I bought, swiftly followed by Natalie Imbruglia. I really loved Australian pop music of the 1990s, I suppose. I memorized every single word to āI Need Youā and can still sing/chant them from memory to this day. This album is all over the map, as are the aesthetics, but for whatever reason, it worked on me. And damn if they didnātinadvertently wrote the best ad for cherry cola.
I just recently listened to āHello My Name Isā¦ā for the first time all the way through and omg. I wish I had a better way of explaining what I feel. This album is pure nostalgia. We all know and love āHurricaneā and āReady or Notā, and the entire rest of the record lives up to that. Iāve had it on repeat for days now.
i bought tickets to see a band i have never heard of, found the cutest tote bag in a japanese op shop, sprinkled cinnamon dust on a mocha latte at noon, cried to lana del rey at the gym maybe itās nostalgic, certainly romantic we reached for the same book on the shelf and i looked down, embarrassed, but you held my gaze and maybe i will see you again guess iām going to greta van fleet
Iāve been on the hunt for a few home decor pieces lately and I am NOT settling for second best or spending a lot! It is fun to go to the thrift and look through the home section real quick and leave. When it takes 10 tries to find what i am looking for i feel so much more appreciative of owning it! If Iām not willing to work for my stuff it is not something I need!!!
Having something you do solely for yourself and being able to create something uniquely yours feels so good! I feel so productive when I use my free time creating instead of doing mindless nonsense
I got my wisdom teeth out last week so I was not able to eat normally and let me tell you pudding is SO FIRE!! There are so many flavors itās like eating straight frosting with less guilt. Am I the only one who forgot about this delicacy?
