i used to hate production pottery bc it felt boring and stress inducing to me. now strangely, hammering out 10 mugs is a delicious indulgence, pulling handles, listening to music, watching a good movie. reminds me of knitting and how necessary it felt.

🔐Just anything. I think being in the act of making things is a really good place for our minds. We're no different from birds or spiders, we've evolved to make things. I believe it's a very deep rooted part of our consciousness that's usually trivialized as "hobbies" or hijacked and converted into labor. I feel down multiple times a day and finding a little something to make and get lost in relieves at least some of the weight of the bad feelings

🪞I’ve been on the hunt for a few home decor pieces lately and I am NOT settling for second best or spending a lot! It is fun to go to the thrift and look through the home section real quick and leave. When it takes 10 tries to find what i am looking for i feel so much more appreciative of owning it! If I’m not willing to work for my stuff it is not something I need!!!

🤤I got my wisdom teeth out last week so I was not able to eat normally and let me tell you pudding is SO FIRE!! There are so many flavors it’s like eating straight frosting with less guilt. Am I the only one who forgot about this delicacy?

🎲Its a game show on Hulu, its like trivia but each person starts with a tile on the floor and challenges someone on their specialty category until someone fully takes over the floor and wins. It’s a season with all the same people rather than by episode so it’s a little more exciting and engaging :)
