If there were ever anyone to root for to receive the golden little nude statue, it's Lily Gladstone. Mollie/Lily was the eye of the storm in a film with so much story and layering. Leonardo DiCaprio held the ensemble together, but Lily? Lily drew us all in to listen and tremble with pain, shame...
I was floored by her KOFM performance and overall, how impeccably she carries herself through a tarnished and often very ugly industry. She is simply herself and that alone is enough. She is the message! She is the moment.

I only saw her perform twice, but I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone else live more than once (though I obviously would like to see a lot of them live again). At least I can say one of the times I saw her was her very first US performance 🥹💔
