made from recycled wetsuits, so the grip is insane!! i’ve had mine for years and it’s held up so well.
they have an XL yoga mat option for tall people and you can recycle your yoga mat back to the company once you’re done with it.
From this ask last week - https://www.pi.fyi/ask/cltirdfwm05vpjizz6zhvk78w - I ended up going with radeline suggestion for the recycled wetsuit mat and it arrived today. Very grippy and comfy. Thanks to everyone that suggested something, I almost went with Lululemon but I'm glad I didn't.
As a fellow long limbed person, I’ve had this for over 5 years and have loved it. It’s been slightly destroyed from cat scritchies, dog scratches, and outside yoga sessions over the years, but still works perfectly-
Very firm grip that makes balancing postures significantly easier, rather than slipping and sliding on lower quality mats. It also has alignment guides that can be so helpful for keeping your alignment in mind🙌 ps it is a bit spensive, but it’s lasted over 5 years, so cheaper than buying one $50 mat every year
I was invited to a yoga class and my friend failed to mention it was a hot yoga class. Well, I was ill equipped with my barging-bin foam mat and did the whole class on hard mode because i’m a sweaty boy and the mat turned into a slip’n’slide ten minutes in. I decided to get a “real” yoga mat and was directed to TJ Maxx because they sometimes have discounted equipment from yoga brands. They did. But what caught my eye was a Reebok branded mat that claimed it had SWEAT-ACTIVATED GRIP TECHNOLOGY. I was skeptical but decided to gamble $20. Reader, I won. I turned this thing into a solid puddle at another hot yoga glass and I still stuck to it like flypaper.
my grandma used this phrase when i asked her about her high school friends. ”ahh yeah. those two used to go together,” she said. and what a sweet sentiment that is. those two “go together” like yellow goes with violet. a perfect little way to describe a fitting match.
