this has staved off madness for countless hours - long train rides, long lectures, keeping my brain busy as i watch bad tv. if the skein wants to make ur life difficult it can be a tad infuriating, but that’s just part of the journey!!!! and the satisfaction of a perfect sphere makes it all worthwhile
because everyone who enters eventually gets tangled and i’m warmed by their hesitancy to escape. you can do a lot with yarn, arm yourself with acrylic sport weight or a cotton blend, collect needles and hooks and you’re everyone’s friend. of course i’ll make you a hat!
DO NOT LET YOURSELF BUY THAT YARN. you will go into a spiral of buying more and more yarn. every single time you will convince yourself that it looks cool and that you’ll use it and then you end up with a huge collection of yarn.… but also yarn is very cool so do what you want with this rec ;)
