im about to get super nerdy. in AP Art history, you have to study 250 works of art, a collection that spans cultures, continents and thousands of years of human history. My life goal is to see all of them and take a little pic where i'm like 🤏 holding them in my fingers lol. Most goated genre of humanities. I took AP Art History in high school and it changed my life; it's just allows you to look at history through the lens of objects that people both owned and used to emotionally process the time they were living in. It's world history, sociology, psychology and visual criticism wrapped up into one. The amount I learned about the inherent nature of humans / humanity in that class is second only to my own life experience.

Just finalized my in person viewing of Duchamp’s works by visiting Yale’s Art Gallery to see Tu m’. Super fun to envelop yourself in an artist’s world through their work and gratifying to complete the checklist. (For more prolific artists, maybe just pick your favorites)

got indirectly put on by @CELINE and it’s a cool archive of art history with artworks, letters and manifestos by artists and essays on movements in art. very handy for learning about art just out of your own curiosity and in a wider way than just going to an exhibition.
