Most goated genre of humanities. I took AP Art History in high school and it changed my life; it's just allows you to look at history through the lens of objects that people both owned and used to emotionally process the time they were living in. It's world history, sociology, psychology and visual criticism wrapped up into one. The amount I learned about the inherent nature of humans / humanity in that class is second only to my own life experience.

public art in particular is suuuper interesting, also art censorship, history of religious art, history of art movements or specific art styles (anything from impressionism to gran fury). or you could dive into specific artists (or even specific art pieces!). i think whatβs really cool about it is that art history can be about people, politics, religion, culture as well as the medium itself and the evolution of techniques and styles
art restoration might be an interesting topic to learn about too (but personally i just like watching these videos lol)

im about to get super nerdy. in AP Art history, you have to study 250 works of art, a collection that spans cultures, continents and thousands of years of human history. My life goal is to see all of them and take a little pic where i'm like π€ holding them in my fingers lol. Such a wide range of art history to learn from. And! you can hear so much enthusiasm and wonder from the speakers every time they discuss the pieces. Roughly 10 minutes of your day to learn something new or revisit something you've seen before.

Cooking and eating with people is possibly the most lindy activity of them all. Everyone needs to eat and at least one person likes to cook. very spiritually fulfilling
