I have hyperfixated on this movie multiple times since I first saw it 9 months ago, and listened to the soundtrack incessantly. Peter Dinklage gives a devastatingly powerful performance and he should absolutely be cast as a romantic lead more often!!!
(p.s. don’t let the official trailer deter you, it doesn’t do the film justice at all and even kinda ruins some of the music by overlaying it weird? idk just skip the trailer and listen to the soundtrack instead if you need more convincing before watching)

literally just got back from the theatre 20 minutes ago so this rec came at the perfect time. i don’t even know how to explain it but there’s a specific scene in this film that make my whole soul light on fire. you have to see in (preferably in theatres) to believe it. bonus points if you like insane soundtracks and vampires

Ok I thought the trailer looked good and I love Luca Guadagnino but holy shit this is instantly my favorite movie of the year
First of all its fucking beautifully shot, every scene and color is beautiful and all three leads are beautiful
I’d never heard of Josh o Connor but wow he’s great
Also it features probably the greatest Trent Reznor Atticus Ross score of all time it sometimes almost drowns out the dialogue at points and it’s incredible
There are unbelievable scenes all throughout honestly but the final scene is so good I walked out with tears in my eyes not cause it was emotional but just cause of how good it was
