Yesterday i took the flix bus to go see the cherry blossoms in Washington DC for one day… it’s relatively cheap, generally clean, has reclining seats, and keeps to their timetables. Plus there’s a 15min stop at the Biden Welcome Center in Delaware that has an Auntie Anne’s pretzel stand. I love convenience of the bus and spontaneous mini vacations. Flix bus helps me feel like i have control in my life.

I started taking the bus to work and I love it. the quality depends on the city, but I love that it’s cheap, fast, and better for the environment. And I don’t have to focus on the road. I can do whatever I want for 10 minutes 😍

my loving parents half invited me to go with them to Glacier National Park and i accepted. it was awesome seeing the night sky, wildlife, and natural scenery but the best part was seeing my parents go somewhere they’ve always wanted to. Glacier was filled with people nearing death - there was a sea of white hair on all the easy trails and in the lodge lobbies. i did have to sneak into many hotels and campsites and sleep on the ground but that only added to the experience of witnessing a bunch of old people live their lives.
