I know that nothing works better than an old fashioned key and I have to admit I kind of hate trying to operate the ridiculous spaceships that are new automobiles but I would love to live in a world where I could just slap my front door to make it open. even more ideally I would love a microchip in my hand that just unlocked things. yes I’m already imagining the dystopian situation where my hand is denied access to my apartment or car or whatever but… what if that didn’t ever happen and it was just easy to open things

And nobody is home so you cant just uber home for your backup key so you call a locksmith but his payment app isn't working so have to go with the locksmith to your bank to withdraw the money to pay him in cash because no normal ATM nearby will let you withdraw that amount at once. I do really like those blood pressure cuff things they use to open your door, though.

When I moved to New York the first time, I worked at a now-defunct music venue near Pumps and would go to the combination BP/Dunkin where I survived off of their incredibly cheap hashbrowns and iced coffee for an extended period. This time around, I have eaten them maybe 5 times a week, for...well, similar reasons. If anyone is not aware, the Dunkin App will reward you with free hashbrowns if you buy, like, 2 things. If you've made it all the way to the end of this rambling ode to the potato coin I highly recommend downloading the Dunkin App and raking in the savings

Absolute legends. disliking Green Day is middle schooler behavior. Liking Green Day is I guess also middle schooler behavior. Figure that out

I’m not necessarily saying there should be more but I can’t help but appreciate the ones that currently exist
