I found it for Ā£3 in a charity bookshop and itās an excellent baking recipe book. Really easy to follow and is broken up into holidays. Today Iām baking the Carrot and Ginger cake from the Easter section. Itās a beautifully presented book, and the Valentineās bakes look so good I cant wait to try them next year. If you see this anywhere definitely pick it up!

This is the most amazing and low-maintenance little baking book youāll come across. All the recipes are designed to just be made with a whisk and a mixing bowl. Just little snacking cakes that are perfect as a sweet breakfast or a little Kaffee und Kuchen in the afternoon. I made the vanilla bean cake below. š

I am by no means traditionally religious, but I fully understand how being in the presence of beautiful stained glass can feel like being with god. ALWAYS stop off at a church on the way if you think it might have good stained glass. The bluebells in the bottom right corner of this made me loose my breath for a moment.
