This place was recommended by the bouncer of another bar lol. Excellent cocktails with varying ABVs, and really good food. I became their stan and went twice in one week.
really cool themed bar, think they only just opened months ago and i got a yelp ad for it when i was in town. the owner was behind the bar and she was the nicest person ever. the attention to details of this place is insane, from glasswares to decors to the fact that every drink on the menu has some kind of homemade ingredient in it the whole bar at some point bonded over saltburn / jacob elordi / barry keoghan the night i was there so all 10-ish of us ended up sitting and chatting together and the people working joined us as wellโiโm getting specific but i have a feeling this isnโt a standalone event!!
Hello Los Angeles residents ๐ Had a bar experience so pleasant I had to share: The Thirsty Crow in Silverlake Silverlakeโโ I knowโโ that's what I thought. But this bar was awesome. Beautiful wooden interior, oil gas lamps, tasteful indie rock, open game cube, pickle shots. Is that "Turkey Vultures" by Wednesday playing on the overhead speakers? Yup. Drinks were so good and a 10$ special for manhattans before 9pm. Took my girls here last night and it was EPIC
I do not need a new wardrobe, packing cubes, new toiletry bag, etc. I have everything I need. Reminding myself of this in the heat of the moment feels like coming down from a frenzy I never wanted to have in the first place.
Prosciutto, salami, etc. started in a cold pan and left to crisp and render their fat. They shrink up and become crispy and delicate and cheek-puckering in their salinity. Highly recommend accompanying with toasted bread and an over easy egg fried in the oils in the pan.
