I know it sounds dumb but I started doing this a few years ago and it probably saved my life. Stuck in traffic? People watch — there's probably something funny or interesting happening that you wouldn't have noticed otherwise, like a funny bumper sticker or a stupid billboard or someone dancing in their car.
Find happiness in the little things. Bask in the sun rise, take a moment to people watch grocery shopping or a cafe. Go on drives to nowhere in particular with your favorite playlist blasting. Read plays to a stuff animal audience and really dramatize the characters.
Three years ago i had a breakup on the first day of April, and i saw a post had this screenshot from the film. This how i got to watch it!
• Still my favourite “stumbling on a film”
If you’re someone who’s not been lifted by the surroundings you were born into, someone will come along the way, they will lift you and you will feel it the people around will feel too, so when they do HOLD on to them because they’ll never be back.
Either a partner or a friend or colleague. you just don’t get so many chances with this kind of precious people i think you’d be super lucky of you got more than three chances. So hold on to your loved ones💌
