If you have an old-timey soda fountain pharmacy near you you’re very lucky. Get your pills, get your shots, get a milkshake, one million times chiller than CVS. (Shout out to Fairley’s in NE Portland)
I live in bushwick and for years I suffered through using the local walgreens. They genuinely never had my meds, always had crazy lines, and don't have enough staff to have anyone on the phone to help you, just overall miserable. I switched to a nearby family-owned pharmacy and I am never looking back--they're SO responsive, scripts ready in an hour every time, always able to answer questions, and they have little candies up front.
I love this -- it sounds good in Spanish ("cuidate") too.
Maybe it's just age, but I've become fond of telling people to "be good."
It's intentionally vague -- it could just be a grammatically poor version of "be well"
Or it could be a suggestion to behave yourself (ish).
It doesn't explain itself and that's my favorite part.
It might be the most middle-aged thing I’ve ever done, but I joined a dragon boat paddling team with a bunch of teachers and I’m obsessed. The boats look like carousel animals! So many magical things about paddling in sync with 30 other people, being out on the water, seeing eagles and blue herons, plus a core workout as good as the Pilates reformer. It’s the freaking best!
