I know itās not a Real Recommendation like you canāt just get a sister, they donāt grow on trees. But I am grateful to have one everydayšto have someone know me so deeply and someone I know I can always be my stupid silly self around. it is very wonderful; it feels like having a constant buddy throughout this life. I learn so much from her! I miss her!!! Hi Gigi!!

I just realized this was a stupid rec knowing you canāt help not having a sister since thatās something only your parents can give youā¦ butā¦ I guess Iām just sayingā¦ having a sister is so fun.
Earlier I was talking to my sister and I couldnāt pick between two very similar looking selfies to use as a profile picture on instagram only to view this guy(who I find cute)ās ig story for the first time (we donāt follow each other; I just stumbled upon his profile while scrolling) and my sister and I went on for hoursss trying to decide and itās so fun just being able to bring up such silly dilemmas to someone I know whose default response is support instead of judgement. If I ask my closest friends the same thing, I know they would help me pick too but thereās always this feeling that they might think that I might be overdoing it just for a silly little ig story Iām about to view (that literally would only take 1 second). But with a sister, you donāt really think of those things. At least between my sister and I.
Additional rec: Beautiful Twin Sisters Podcast ep2. They also talked about the same thing, about being sisters and not having to feel shy or afraid of being judged being around each other bc theyāve literally known each other their whole lives which is such an ideal roommate situation.
I just think itās beautiful and very comforting to know there is someone on this earth whoās always going to support you, no matter how big or small your dilemma is, in a form of a sibling ā¤ļøāš©¹

šÆI earnestly feel bad for someone with no sister. I ask their opinion on literally everything and they are criminally honest with me. They are my biggest critics and supporters and I love them dearly. I know I have done well when my sisters say so.

āi have a nice spot on campus under an arched outdoor hallway where i eat my food truck meals in between classes. its lovely in sunny weather but also a nice shelter in the rain or snow. i also enjoy the seclusion it provides, since i do not like to be seen eating by strangers. basically it's a choice and a necessary precaution.

šLove how my roommates/bffs and I now sort of have a secret language, a specific lingo if you will. I read an article about how small groups/communities start to unknowingly build their own specific āsocietiesā/cultures through just being together so often. I love how that just happens naturally; connection is what we are all here/made for! I also like seeing othersā friendship ecosystems it is so cute and cool!!
