It sounds pretentious but it’s not pretentious at all. you can read on your phone too. It makes time go by so fast and you get to reach the end of your book faster. It’s so nice. I’m reading paradais by fernanda melchor rn.

Holding a physical paperback is one of the Core Experiences of reading pleasure— but the option of having your book at all times, no matter the lighting, body position or situation, is going to make you so much more likely to read. The way you can read for 5 minutes, text your friend, check notifs and seamlessly come back to your page is kind of brainrot but you know what. Idgaf :33 For me, the convenience of skipping a trip to the library and just downloading an epub file is one of the purest indulgences of instant gratification… very gluttonous but it feels very Nice

I’ve been reading at work everyday lately….it’s a ton of fun and I am feasting this book right up because I love the rush of feeling like I’m gonna get in trouble! Like what do you mean “Stop Reading!”, I look way better with my nose in a book than my goofy ahh cell phone

I‘m wondering why we stopped having blogs and writing essays? I want to hear people’s thoughts. I want to share my thoughts! and I don’t want to see these thoughts in a few sentences on twitter or a short Instagram post. I need a 1000+ word essay with images, links, references, book recs, and everything else. I wanna know what’s going on inside your brain.

I need to share this list I made because it is such a blessing to me that I can just open youtube or vimeo and watch these lovely little movies. there’s a range of them like bergman, tarkovsky, polish films, art-house, weird matthew gray gubler short, experimental horror, short films from the 20’s. how fun.
