GO THROUGH YOUR WATCHLIST IN ORDER

This is the only system that worked for me. When I subscribed to the Criterion Channel and built up a watchlist, I made myself always watch whatever was next instead of trying to figure out what I wanted to watch at that moment. I have one streaming service and it's the Criterion Channel. Burnt myself with all my mid 20th century slapstick comedies-- eventually took a Jimmy Stewart/Cary Grant break and found myself really enjoying a Woody Allen movie. It was in that moment that I realized that I've letterboxd'd too close to the sun

Always carry a deck of cards

It’s nice to be the one in the friend group who always has a game planned. I keep one deck in my purse and one on my car. Then have some quick games that are easy to teach. I suggest: Six Card Golf Garbage Bullshit Presidents and Assholes
