Book (rn its 'Epitaph of a Small Winner), laptop, laptop charger, knife roll (you never know), headphone, charger for my headphone, charger (plus block) for my phone, headphones for my laptop (ask me abt this im very specific with headphone usage), my smokes, matches (again, you just never know), chapstick, my sunglasses, an extra pair of socks (ynk^3), three pencils, and a pen.
Stay ready so you never have to get ready.

i always have a few books on me, mini playing cards, assorted lip balms, keys, wallet, my journal, a pencil pouch, stray earrings, ginger mints, hand lotion, maybe a snack or two

Anything less than a big bag is unacceptable imo, but that's coming from someone who operates on the mindset of "you never know what might happen".
I have my wallet, my keys, my phone, my headphones, a snack + a water bottle, my charger, my journals + pens and my tablet.
I also have this bag that has, including but not limited to: lotion, perfume, lip products, a nail file, a nail clip, a mini mirror, pain-relief pills, extra pad supply, bandaids, a mini-tube of adhesive liquid, gum, my toothbrush and paste, wipes, antibacterial soap (highly needed if you get your hands dirty in labs or if you're germophobic)....You genuinely never know when you need any of this stuff.

Not much to say without spoiling it but damn this movie was good. Jack Nicholson is charismatic as ever and this performance is up there with The Shining for me personally. Great writing, and the cinematography is beautiful.
