got a set of pocket sized moleskine cahier journals, one of which i use to write down reminders, small thoughts, test out new pens, doodle, etc etc etc. it has no explicit purpose other than to be a place i can write anything down whenever and wherever. an analog notes app if you will..

Recently I bought a little pack of palm-sized notebooks in an effort to be more “analog” with my notes and thoughts (pretentious, I know). With a world of increasing options, I’ve found I am all over the place with my notes. I have some in Apple Notes, some in Notion, a few in other random apps I’ve accumulated over the years, and I’m sure others in places I forget. For the past month I’ve used these handwritten notebooks and it’s like something finally clicked for me. Just a quick jot away, I’ve got a pad filled and another started, with drawings/diagrams of ideas for projects and little notes I want to be able to look back on. Just make sure if you do this you pair those notebooks with some muji pens or your preferred writing tool for the ultimate experience.

if u are a perfectionist and would like to have space to be messy and just glue things together to document moments
you should definitely get yourself a small notebook and watch him getting chunkier
it made me observe my surroundings better cuz now im constantly looking for things i can put here.

This is my everything notebook where I’ve written to-do lists, thumbnail sketches, random thoughts, doodles of pretty people and so on. It has dividers with pockets too (score!!). I keep trying to use a planner but I always come back to this notebook specifically.

i write down all the new-to-me words i encounter while reading and turn them into digital index cards. i've also been realizing lately that there's a lot of words i don't actually know the meanings of despite being familiar with them. those go in the cards too.
