setting aside 15 to 30 min a day just to walk around the block. I‘ve added it to my routine a few weeks ago and have not been able to go the past week bc I was sick. It’s actually making me so depressed. I want the oxygen. Best time to listen to an audiobook, the same song over and over again or a new album front to back.

i think its bc im used to walking everywhere in general but having at least a 10 minute walk will completely change my mood and entire day. even thru rain or snow, i will just layer up and try to achieve this- sometimes its impossible but its been 95% successful so far!!! truly life changing <3 just throw on a good playlist or podcast, or use it to think about stuff

its really nice to just go walking while listening to some comfy playlist or a playlist curated just for these moments. I really like to listen comfy songs in a playlist made especially for walking in a park (that’s what I do). if you can go to a park too, I guarantee you will be happy. plus, that’s a type of exercise that doctors keep tellling us about… improves your health but it’s less torturing

I’ve taken a 45 min walk everyday for the past 2 months and it‘s fixed something. Don’t know what the science is. Don‘t really care. Bring a notebook with you. Listen to music or just your surroundings. My favorite thing has been catching 6 seconds of the funniest conversation, you’ll never know the rest of. Just noticing more things that you might overlook in a car, or a train, or on a bike. If you’re stressed, angry, sad, confused etc., a walk might not fix you but it will change something!
