quick yap about chani:
pre-app i followed her website/newsletter and would pay for her monthly readings- did this for 3 years as a broke college student. if i couldn’t pay one month, her/her team would give it to me for free 🥹
lifelong chani stan
cabaretbaby time passages is much more "professional" idk how to describe it, it leads with the aspects and the transits, while CHANI feels much more personalized and admittedly the interface is gorgeous.
cabaretbaby ive used both
time passages is detailed, very thorogugh, but more academic?
chani is detailed but in a relatable way— like if you were irl adult friends with your favorite teacher. she wants you to understand what’s happening and how it affects you personally.
rec: listen to the weekly reading for *your rising sign* in the “this week” section and you’ll never need to read a weekly forecast again
CHANI app is one of the coolest and most personalized astrology apps I’ve found! the app provides you with your birth chart, personalized daily, weekly, and yearly horoscope readings, and all sorts of other fun things to check out. not to mention, a very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing platform. the app also includes a weekly tarot card, podcast episodes led by Chani Nicholas herself, and sooo much more like how the moon phases or other planetary shifts might effect you given your sun/moon/rising. you can also upgrade for more access to things like personal weekly readings, rituals, journal prompts, and even more in-depth readings for your exact chart. highly recommend :))
Did you know CO STAR is AI generated and designed to abuse its subscribers with fear tactics, using astrological scare tactics to create buzz? And The Pattern is also AI bullshit. If you actually want real astrological readings from an app, inclusive of meditation practices and journal prompts, tailored to you, with an audio format read by the astrologer herself, CHANI, then get this app. There are also hundreds (dozens?!) of meditations and affirmations recorded. I fall asleep to her voice every single night. Also +++ she’s queer and cool and this is her life’s work. Worth every penny.
I love it, even with the repetition and exhaustion. Unexpected benefit: losing sense of time. Every task, from feeding to putting her to sleep, takes as long as it takes. I’m not trying to control time or “be productive” in the same way I did pre-baby.
