I can't tolerate pasteurized diary at all really, so raw milk has been great for me. I also think it tastes better, but you just have to make sure it's coming from a trustworthy farm.
This!!!
I buy raw milk from a local farm that tests every batch they sell so it feels like less of a risk.
Personally wouldnāt consider it without testing being standard practice!
At this point 70% of my personality is raw milk - procuring it, drinking it, taking photos of it with pithy little captions like ānight cap!ā,Ā talking about it to other people against their will, like on dates or to like trapped baristas at Starbucks. As someone of formerly lactose intolerant experience, I am not exaggerating when I say raw milk has VITALLY improved my existence. Besides the fact that it has something like 70% more available vitamins in it than pasteurized milk (I keep an infographic of this on my phone because Iām a girl and canāt be expected to remember numbers and science) it has all its natural enzymes for digestion which means not only can I party on as much raw milk and cheese as I want, the enzymes in those also digest regular bootleg ass milk, cheese, ice cream etc. I love you so much raw milk!!!
we always had raw milk at home when i was a kid, as it was bought from neighbors with a cow. it didn't seem out of the ordinary and no one felt bad, but i never liked it because of the weird smell
This is specifically for NYC people. In Ridgewood Queens there is a hole in the wall high quality chocolate shop. Itās run by an eccentric and amazing man named Constantine and his wife. He will talk your ear off for a half an hour about āthe benefitsā of chocolate and how itās a panacea for pretty much everything. How big chocolate gives away most of the cocoa butter to the cosmetic industry. Heāll also talk to you about how he asks ChatGPT about chocolate and itās wrong a lot of the time. Youāll then buy a bar even though itās small and $10. But you will go home and have a little piece after dinner and never taste chocolate the same way againā¦
If we click on a rec or ask to comment, like I'm doing now, it would be great that when I go back, it doesn't send me back to the top of the page but rather to the place where I was scrolling previously.
