Languages are my weak-spot. I find them very difficult to learn and donāt enjoy learning them but I realllyyyy wish I could. maybe now Iāve learnt how to play chess a language will be my next āthing I ām bad atā to do? i would like to learn sight language but thatās really hard to do without an in person teacher, so maybe Iāll learn Spanish

Thereās just something about that scratches an itch I canāt rightly describe. Learning languages feels good and opens so many doors, it activates a part of my brain that I donāt think Iāve used enough.
This year Iām trying to get back on the habit of learning Mandarin (which I studied for eight years, yet still feel woefully inadequate speaking), Yiddish (which I spent one year learning, but have since lapsed), and/or French (which Iāve never tried to learn, but thereās a first for everything!)

My first language is Spanish but feel like Iām losing it as I get older and use it less. Played scrabble with my mom in Spanish yesterday and it felt so good for my brain

I am by no means traditionally religious, but I fully understand how being in the presence of beautiful stained glass can feel like being with god. ALWAYS stop off at a church on the way if you think it might have good stained glass. The bluebells in the bottom right corner of this made me loose my breath for a moment.
