My husband is fluent so sometimes I will have him talk to in Spanish to see if I can respond. It’s fun (and funny) to try and talk a different language when you’re not in what could be a more stressful environment where you HAVE to speak it.
What do you mean I can just randomly cambiar mi idioma y como platico without any pauses and translate in real time in my head.
Also love helping people who speak Spanish who may not fully know how to speak English.

I took Spanish all through school and have been doing Duo on and off for several years and have some baseline knowledge but watching “Los Espookys” and “The Taco Chronicles” (with captions) has shown to me that I understand a lot more than I realize.
One of my favorite weekend activities! Here’s this weeks haul. It reminds me of going to the video store as a kid and gives me shopping vibes and I have a whole weekend of entertainment and did spend a cent.
